What are you really chasing?

We spent this past weekend at the Chesapeake Bay.

And it was glorious.

We spent our days just going to the water, then back to the house, then back to the water, then back to the house.

We went out once for some Penguin Ice, but other than that we did nothing but float, chill, play games, and watch Big Brother.

Just me and my three favorite humans. Chillin hard.

It was such a great reminder for me that this is why I started my business. For the freedom to do what I want when I want.

I honestly didn’t start this business to make a million dollars a year. (If that’s on your vision board - more power to ya! I ain't judgin'.)

But I don’t need millions, and I honestly don’t want to do the work it would take to build a million dollar business.

The same way I didn’t want to be a principal to make more money when I was a teacher.

It’s a completely different job. And not one I'd like at all.

I love building brands for my clients that they absolutely love and feel 1000% like them.

I love helping people set up a static 9 grid and never feel the pressure to post on Instagram again if they don’t want to.

And I love networking, chatting, and learning with the folks in The Playhouse.

Take a few seconds this week to really assess why it was that you started your business and make sure you haven’t accidentally lost sight of that. It’s easy to do with all the content coming at us all the time.

Why did you start your business? And maaaaaybe you already kinda have the business of your dreams.

Just sayin.
